Burberry Fragrance Bottle Engraving - Houston

This holiday season, I became aware of a fragrance that was new to me. I have engraved for Burberry in Houston many times; however, this was the first time that this beautiful fragrance bottle landed on my engraving table. It is called Burberry Goddess. The information for the fragrance is detailed as such:

A unique, gourmand scent led by a trio of vanillas and enriched with luminous lavender. The vanilla is collected by hand, then the beans spend five to seven weeks drying in the sun, before being stored in wooden boxes to mature and develop their sweet, signature aroma.

I personally love the scent of vanilla as it just has a welcoming aroma that evokes thoughts of happiness.

This bottle was incredibly simple to engrave. As I have said before, glass is glass. The glass did have a rather rich feel to it as I was engraving it. Strangely, the glass had that soft feeling that you experience when engraving in brass. A fellow engraver would appreciate the similarity. All was well and this glass engraved beautifully.

Tory Burch Fragrance Bottle Engraving Houston

I had the pleasure of engraving for Tory Burch fragrances again at Nordstrom at the Houston Galleria a month or so ago. I do become quite weak for fragrances I must admit. From an engraving standpoint, this bottle was pretty simple. As I often remark, glass is glass. Whether I use a fresh or not so fresh bur, it was no problem to engrave this glass.

The Tory Burch website has this description of this new fragrance:

Electric Sky captures the essence of freedom. Vibrant and rapturous, like the energy after a storm, it is an unexpected mix of refreshing cactus flower, lavender and wood. Saltwater lends a mineral quality to the fragrance, blended with blue sage and a Palo Santo accord for warmth and positivity. Electric Sky is one of five scents in the Essence of Dreams collection, celebrating the power of dreams.

The lavender used in this scent comes from sources that re-invest in the local community. Our packaging uses Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified paper and compostable cellophane.

Top notes: blue sage and violet Heart notes: cactus flower and responsibly-sourced lavender Base notes: Palo Santo accord and vetiver

Cartier Pasha Fragrance Bottle Engraving - Houston Engraver

There are companies for which I engrave that are just always a pleasure. Cartier always proves to be an exquisite pleasure. All of your senses are piqued upon entering the boutique. The scents, soft music, the detail to positioning every item….

The bottle: Pasha

Pasha: the first fragrance from Cartier that stunned the olfactory world with its elegant fougère accord, fusing the incomparable freshness of an oriental fragrance with the green note of galbanum.

Engraving the fragrance bottles for Cartier is simply a pleasing experience. The glass alone engraves smoothly with minimal resistance. I have often said that “glass is glass” when it comes to engraving however it is true that some glass is smoother than others. The glass used for these perfume bottles is genuinely a delight to etch. Fragrance Engraving in Houston

This Burberry fragrance bottle was a pleasure to engrave. As it was a rectangular bottle, there were no curves to consider. It was just as simple as engraving on flat glass. The scent itself is beautiful. I recall noticeable hints of bergamot & geranium.

The engraving requested for this bottle was quite simple and I believe that the simplicity of it attracted me. It was simply “My Darling”.
